The Rose of Lancaster is Chadderton’s finest pub and restaurant. We serve a range of Cask Marque accredited ales, quality wines from around the world and delicious pub food from our new Autumn menus.
Our conservatory style restaurant and beer garden overlooking the Manchester and Rochdale canal is perfect for watching the sun shimmer off the canal.
There’s also our tap room where we show a number of live sporting events, complete with a separate bar. We always have a number of events taking place at the pub, head to our What’s On and sign up to our newsletter to keep in the loop and see what events we have coming up.

Had dinner here last week with the mother, it was lovely. The waitress was quick with our drink orders and brought them without a long wait, & the food came in good timing also. Even with it being highly busy with it being dinner time we had check-backs from our waitress, it was clear to see she was very committed to her job and giving good customer service.
Another visit to this friendly local to see refurbishment of beer garden. Really friendly polite staff and management and excellent pub food: seared chicken, lamb rump and smoked salmon salad. Love this pub….always a great experience.
This was our first visit to the Rose of Lancaster. It’s a lovely place. Excellent service. Food was piping hot. Highly recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely be going back again in the near future.
