When it comes to local community pubs, the Rose of Lancaster in Chadderton knows what it’s all about. As well as serving outstanding pub food and having a bar packed full of award-winning ales, such as JW Lees Bitter and Manchester Pale Ale, The Rose of Lancaster is Chadderton’s best community pub.
Our menus are packed full of delicious dishes that are perfect for the season. On Sundays, we also serve an outstanding Sunday roast, complete with unlimited Yorkshire puddings and bottomless gravy.
To go alongside your food, we have a bar featuring award-winning iconic ales such as our famous JW Lees Bitter and Manchester Craft Lager. We also serve specially crafted seasonal ales throughout the year, as well as exciting new beers from The Boilerhouse.
The following policy is in operation after 5pm in our restaurant and lounge bar: No overalls, tracksuit bottoms or baseball caps.
Beer Garden
Our covered, heated beer garden along the Rochdale Canal is incredibly spacious, the ideal space for you and your friends to sit back and relax this Summer. Our MPA, Bitter and Manchester Craft Lager come fresh from Greengate Brewery and our new menus are perfect for alfresco dining.

This year we are proud to adopt this as our charity for the Football Season, they are the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialist nursing care and support for young people with cancer. Cancer should never stop you being YOUNG! Help us to raise funds for this worthy charity and support the magnificent work they do.
